The Very Basics Of Cake Decorating
This is a 4 Session Class (Each class is approx. 2 hours in length)
Cost: $250.00 (plus tax) per person –
this cost includes all cake tools and supplies, baked cakes, and buttercream supplied by It’z My Party Cakery.
Course Description:
Learn the fundamentals of cake decorating. Topics will include basic skills and tips. This isn’t your basic Wilton course. You will leave each session with tons of cakey knowledge to show off your future masterpieces.
Course Objectives:
1. Properly identify and learn to utilize equipment needed to decorate cakes.
2. Learn how to tort and fill a cake.
3. Prepare icing (i.e. fill icing bag, add color) and ice cake.
4. Learn different techniques to make various borders and garland decorations.
5. Learn to make and use icing transfers and other tools to create patterns for designs.
Fondant & Gumpaste
This is a 3 Session Class (Each class is approx. 2 hours in length)
Cost: $225.00 (plus tax) per person –
this cost includes all cake tools and supplies, and iced cakes.
Course Description:
Learn the basics of fondant and gum paste, & what the differences are between them. You will actually get to learn how to cover a cake with fondant, and also learn how to make fondant and gum paste decorations to use on your cakes. (Designs are pre-determined by Judi, and everyone learns the same designs)
Course Objectives:
1. Properly identify and learn the differences between the mediums being used.
2. Learn how to successfully roll out and apply fondant & gum paste design elements to your pre-iced cakes.
3. Prepare different colors to apply designs to your cakes.
4. Learn different techniques to make various design elements on your cake.
Royal Cookies
This is a 1 Session Class (Class is approx. 2 hours in length)
Cost: $125.00 (plus tax) per person –
this cost includes all cookie tools and supplies, and all cookies. Each student will leave with up to 1 dozen finished cookies.
Course Description:
Learn the basics of royal icing and how to get flawless cookies that will WOW your friends and family. You will actually get to learn how to make royal icing, and also learn how to make the different consistencies of royals to achieve different designs. (Designs are pre-determined by Judi, and everyone learns the same designs)
Course Objectives:
1. Properly learn the differences in royal icing consistencies, and how they are used.
2. Learn how to successfully dip, outline and flood cookies, and then apply different royal icing techniques.
3. Prepare different designs and colors to your cookies.
Modeling Chocolate Fundamentals
This is a 2 Session Class (Class is approx. 2 hours in length)
Cost: $125.00 (plus tax) per person –
this cost includes all modeling chocolate tools and supplies.
Course Description:
Learn the basics of modeling chocolate and how to get flawless delicious edible elements using it. You will actually get to learn how to make modeling chocolate, and also learn how useful and versatile it is for all of your cake, cake pop and cookie designs.
(Designs are pre-determined by Judi, and everyone learns the same designs)
Course Objectives:
1. Properly learn how to make modeling chocolate, how to use it, and how to store it.
2. Learn how to successfully manipulate, shape, and how it can be used for many different decorating designs and techniques.
3. Learn how to make toppers for both cupcakes or cakes.
Simple Sugar Flowers
This is a 1 Session Class (Class is approx. 2 hours in length)
Cost: $125.00 (plus tax) per person –
this cost includes all sugar flower tools and supplies.
Course Description:
Learn the basics of making beautiful realistic looking flowers completely from flower paste. You will actually get to learn how to make realistic and fantasy flowers that can be beautiful accents on cupcakes or cakes. You will also learn how safely apply them to your cakes or cupcakes.
(Designs are pre-determined by Judi, and everyone learns the same designs)
Course Objectives:
1. Learn how to make edible flowers from floral paste, how to use it, and how to store them.
2. Learn how to make simple blossoms, buds and leaves.

Each guest will have 4 cupcakes to decorate using creative, expert techniques that we teach them. We will be using age appropriate cake decorating tools throughout the party. Each guest will take their beautifully decorated cupcakes home in a box that they decorate.
A staff member will assist throughout the party.

Cupcake Decorating Party Unassisted
We will provide everything you need for each guest. Each guest will have 4 cupcakes to decorate using their own creativity. They will be using age appropriate cake decorating tools throughout the party. Each guest will take their beautifully decorated cupcakes home in a box that they decorate. Chaperons/Parents are required to stay for the duration of the party, and are solely responsible for assisting the needs of the party guests.

Party Guest Maximum: 12
Minimum Age: 5 Years Old

4 cupcakes per guest, buttercream, fondant & colorful sprinkles
we provide them with the tools necessary to decorate their cupcakes with butterream

Cake Decorating Party Assisted
Each guest will have their own personal cake to decorate. They will be using creative, expert techniques that we teach them. We will be using professional cake decorating tools throughout the party. Each guest will take their beautifully decorated cake home after the party in a cake box. A staff member will assist throughout the party.

up to 2 hours
1 personal cake per guest, buttercream, fondant & colorful sprinkles

Please note: We use royal icing when decorating cookies. It takes from 6 to 24 hours to dry completely if they are to be wrapped individually. Cookie wrapping products are not provided with the party and would need to be purchased by you.
